Deacon Anthony Handley Sr.

Deacon Anthony Handley Sr. was born November 24, 1961 to the blessed union of Jonhan Handley Sr. and Lottie Handley. His mother, Lottie Handley, sister Donna L. Brown and brother, Donald C. Brown all preceded him in deh. Anthony gradued from Central High School in 1980. He ler tended Penn Valley Community College. Anthony was a man of multi talents. He was a loving quite spirited person. He loved helping others. He was a care giver to many. He was formerly employed the Grey Hound Bus Company. Anthony accepted Christ an early age. He was a faithful member of the Community Progressive Missionary Baptist Church, where he served as a Deacon, Church Transportion Specialist, and Male chorus. Anthony also taught in the Sunday School and Vacion Bible Study ministries when asked. Anthony united in Holy Mrimony to his beloved wife Mona L O’Neal Handley in 2005. Anthony impacted so many people’s life in a positive way throughout his family and community. He enjoyed Family gherings and cook outs. Anthony departed his Earthly Home for his Heavenly Mansion on Thursday February 1, 2018. To cherish Anthony’s loving memory, he leaves his loving wife, Mona Lisa O’neal Handley of the home. Two Children Anthony Handley, Jr, “Kristen”, Xavier Handley of Kansas City, MO; Step children, Tarence O’neal, Chanda O’neal and Amel O’neal. Fher Rev. Jonhan Handley, Sr. “Mittie”; Sisters Connie E. Brown, Pameletta Brown, Eleanor L. Johnson “Kevin”; all of Kansas City, MO and Pricia A. Hodges “Barry” of Whicita, KS; Brothers Jonhan Handley Jr. Antonio Haney Sr, “Andrea” of Kansas City, MO. Nine Grandchildren; A host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousin’s other relives and friends and his Community Progressive Church Family.
