Arnie R. Fletcher

Arnie Ree Fletcher nicknamed Fox and Ree Baby, passed away on December 16, 2022. She was born on March 13th, 1939, to Sullivan Lewis and Bennie Lee Taylor in Long Branch, Texas (Panola County). Arnie Ree was the eldest of 12 siblings whom she loved dearly. She graduated from Minden High School in Minden Texas. Sometime after school, she moved to Kansas City, Missouri where she married Melvin Fletcher on October 7, 1961. From this union, Rosa Marie Fletcher, Terry Lee Fletcher, Mark, and Michelle Fletcher were Born Arnie Ree was the true definition of a matriarch. She raised her children grandchildren great-grandchildren, and just about all of her nieces, nephews, and even the children in the neighborhood. Arnie Ree loved showing her love by filling your belly and at any given moment you could find her out on the fishing banks, "across the water" as she would say playing the slots with her best buddies Lela "Ma Bettis'' Williams (deceased), and Zsa Zsa Addison (deceased). She was also known for being an avid gardener she loved planting beautiful flowers in her front yard every year. she also loved playing spades and dominoes most of all She loved visiting back home in east Texas when she could stare at the odometer down the highway. Arnie Ree leaves to cherish her fond memories her daughters Rosa and Michelle Fletcher sons Terry and Mark Fletcher, her brothers Melvin (rinalda) Lewis, Mervin E.(Sharon), and Charles Lewis, and her sisters Nancy L. Thomas and Mary Watson, also a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren nieces, nephews, and friends
