Joyceteen Roseburr

Joyceteen Roseburr was born October 14, 1946 in Cleveland, Arkansas to the union of Frank and Rosa Byers both of whom precede her in transition, additionally two siblings sister Beatrice Byers-Hughes and brother Lyonell Byers proceed her in death. Most don't know that Joyce had a very special goddaughter Antrice Byers, who also proceeds her as well. At a very early age Joyce dedicated her life to Christ at Metropolitan AME Zion Church later moving her membership to MT Pleasant Baptist Church where she was a faithful member until failing health would not let her attend worship, she was also part of the Heritage Dance Ministry (A Praise Dance Group). She graduated from Paseo High School, as well as becoming an honorary member of the Menifee High School Class of 1965. Joyce enjoyed playing sports and excelled in Basketball and Softball. She was employed by the Western Electric Telephone Company and later worked for Marion Laboratories before retirement. Joyce met Sylvester Roseburr, he was in eighth grade. That meeting lead to puppy love, and SIXTY-FIVE years of Love. How blessed to have a man by your side. Sylvester exhibited the true meaning of " in sickness and in health ". He did not leave her side throughout her entire illness. She is one of GOD's given angels. Joyce would go out of her way to help any and everybody. She was loving, caring and very, generous from her heart. Joyce leaves to cherish with fond memories her husband Sylvester Roseburr of the home; brothers Walter Byers(Edwina), Frank K. Byers(Brenda) and Theotis Byers; sister Staytoria Byers; paternal in laws Atlas and Ora D. Payne Sr., a host of family and many friends.
